My name is Emma and I come from a small village in the north east of Italy, exactly where Italy and Slovenia meet. I have been raised bilingual as I learnt Italian and Slovene from an early age. I am very proud of my Italian-Slovene roots and that is why one of the aims of the Staygezellig events is to share this part of me too. To let it be seen and experienced by all those that wish, here in the Netherlands, where I live. I have been living in the lovely city of Nijmegen for a few years and have been working as an international teacher. 

​Last year I started my Instagram page Staygezellig in which I share my passion for cosy interiors and ideas on how to use simple materials to make cute creations (my motto is why buy if you can diy!). I usually share bits and bobs of my world too :). 

However, lately I have been thinking more and more about creating not only moments that can be viewed behind the screen but moments that can be experienced live, moment in which we can truly reconnect, reset and be creative.

That is how the idea of Staygezellig events came to life! I am soooo excited about sharing my passions with you and looking forward to creating together!
